Dunan, first and foremost, is the wife of Tzadkiel. It's rare that in such a place as EvE, you'll find such a touching love story as what these two share. Before Tzadkiel officially joined the Caldari Navy, he was captured on one of his smuggling runs and interrogated by a notorious Gallente agent. Although Tzadkiel never divulged any information, the interrogation virtually broke him and it was the agent's wife who was seconded to bring him food and water during his incarceration and trials. Unhappy in her marriage to her brutal husband, Dunan found mutual attraction in the stoical Tzadkiel and in a poignant rebuke to her husband and her Gallente heritage, fell in love with him and helped him to escape, much to her husband's dismay. During the war, Tzadkiel had the opportunity to destroy a ship the agent was aboard. Knowing he was on board, and knowing that Dunan and he would be free, he still reneged on the order to blow the cruiser up, honouring the timeless institution of marriage. Upon hearing that Tzadkiel was commanding the enemy fleet, the agent scuttled his ship in shame, gaining honour among the few who knew of the love triangle but nevertheless condemning over 200 crew to their deaths. Dunan was sent into exile thereafter, and she and Tzadkiel married shortly after. It is only now after many years that she has been able to return to Gallente space to show again her industrial aptitude. Recently she has joined Stepstone as N.A.G.A Liason Officer. Indeed her passing quote about the endeavour has become it's motto - small oportunities are often the begining of great enterprises!
