Upon
the release of Tech II, and NAGA Corporation's recent Quarterly General
meeting the following press release was issued by Perera, Chief Operating
Officer.
CURRENT
STATE OF BUSINESS
While
the advent of Tech II threatens the viability of most Tech I named
modules, we will continue to advance the brand image of NAGA Loot
Shop™ as a single stop destination of nevertheless desired items
and perhaps the most invaluable of commodities, free advice and knowledge
through the Bazaar Channel™. We do not anticipate that the fruit
of the Crielere Project will reduce the need for most of the items
we trade in overnight, moreover we will be watchful of developments
in new and improved modular technology but in development within Empire
Space and that used by the more nefarious elements of EvE out in 0.0
territory. Ultimately, the Shop will remain open.
As
we are not a public listed company, we are not obliged to advertise
our current financial status. However, any developments mooted in
the long term creation of an EvE stock market will be watched. A privately
owned share scheme is being drawn up and will be implemented in due
course.
RECRUIMENT
POLICY
No
change. We are an invite only corporation and until further notice
we will remain so. Otherwise we are pleased to welcome Rigz, Perera's
brother to the fold. Rigz will be concentrating on Agent Liasion,
utilising his contacts in Caldari State.
POLICITAL
/ CORPORATE STANDINGS
It
is with some regret that we have recently been asked to discontinue
and vacate our activities in the Curse region, following the Alliance's
dictate to close it's borders to all non-members. It was decided that
practicalities made it common sense to adhere to this concentrated
effort by the CA to enforce this more stringent policy. Our relocation
has ensured that the loot left behind by hapless Curse Angels will
not be neglected however. Indeed, the now blossoming hostility and
more dangerous pirate squadrons promise more lucrative yields, provided
they are treated with the new found respect they deserve. As yet,
no NAGA vessel has been lost to them and although our tactics have
had to be re-addressed it has not been without success; our Hunter/Gatherer
ships have downed several 250,000 ISK bounties, the largest we have
encountered so far.
